This photograph was printed on Cibachrome in the bathroom at my parents home. Cibachrome was somewhat finicky printing material and required good control over the processing temperatures and steps. When I applied for a job at PhotoCraft, a local photo lab in Portland, OR, the owners were impressed enough with this print to offer me a job in their color printing department, where I primarily made prints from color transparencies (slides).
